3 Weeks of Sunshine

Hi friends! My sister suggested this as a way people can check-in to stay updated when ya want, so we're giving it a try:)
We lovvvve how much love there is for this little girl, and we SO appreciate alllllllllll the prayers & support. We FEEL it.

Sunny is still breathing via intubation, she's on some medications that are allowing her heart to function but also have a known side effect of apnea. Before another extubation is attempted,  Dr's are wanting to insert a stent so that she's able to come off of those meds & then see if the apnea continues or not.  Currently,  she's scheduled for the stent Monday morning - first case🙏🏻

So for this weekend,  she's chilling.  They just upped her dosing as she's a growing lady💪🏻. She's an excellent communicator, and let's us & her nurses know when she needs a diaper change or suction.  She loves butt pats & having her hair combed by her Papa, and she lovvvves holding hands with her zebra stuffed animal.  She gets lots of compliments on her goose blanket, and several nurses & a cleaning lady have already ordered one of their own because she's got great style & is a baby influencer💅🏻

Prayer requests:

- For the procedure on Monday to go smoothly.

- For Sunny to respond well to not being on the meds anymore and be able breathe without apnea, and have a strong gag reflex & cough to protect her airway.

Thank you so very much! Love Chris,  Alyssa & Sunny Good

    1. I’m a friend of Judy Sherwood and have known Chris and the Good family for years. My husband and I lift Sunny up in our prayers each day since she was born. We know this precious little one is having a tough start but watch out she will finish strong. God promises strength for our hard. Days so we know she is strong and will come out of this with a testimony that praises our Lord and the wonderful doctors and nurses who are helping her each day. Sending our love and prayers for a complete recovery from Mission Viejo, CA
